FAQ

What exactly is a health coach?

A health coach helps you make sustainable lifestyle, nutrition and mindset changes to improve your overall health. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, a health coach looks at the bigger picture of your wellness – considering nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, mindset and daily habits.

In many ways, a health coach bridges the gap between knowing what to do for your health and actually putting it into practice, offering support and education along the way.

Just as personal trainers help us stay motivated in the gym, health coaching is about providing accountability, with regular check-ins to ensure progress and overcome barriers.

What health aspects will we be looking to change?

I’m here to support you with whatever’s getting in the way of you feeling your best. That might be bloating or other digestive issues, skin concerns, low energy, allergies, chronic pain, weight struggles or painful periods. Whatever the challenge, big or small, we’ll work together to understand what’s really going on and create changes in your diet and lifestyle that will help ease symptoms.

What will our health coaching sessions involve?

In our first session, we'll run through your health history, diet and lifestyle. We'll then work on some health goals you want to achieve and devise a plan on how you're going to get there.

We'll have regular check-ins to see how you're getting on and work through any barriers you may be facing or goals that may need tweaking.

Sessions are relaxed and conversational. We’ll talk through your current health, challenges and goals. Depending on your programme, we may include breathwork, meditation or other supportive tools.

How is this different from seeing a doctor or nutritionist?

Health coaching is about guiding and supporting you through lifestyle change, not diagnosing or prescribing. I help you take daily action towards better health, adopting a holistic view and  looking at how your diet, stress, sleep, mindset and movement habits are all interconnected.

It's about understanding the root causes of individual health issues and building a foundation for long-term wellbeing.

Do I need to follow a strict diet?

No! Together, we’ll explore what works best for your body and lifestyle, making gradual changes that feel doable and sustainable.

My approach focuses on adding nutrients rather than restricting foods. Instead of just saying “no” or cutting things out, it’s about exploring what we can include to make your diet more nutritionally complete. The goal is for you to truly enjoy eating and build a lifestyle that feels positive, enjoyable and sustainable – where food is fuel to support your body.
